Instructions for using Netscape 2 (and not 3) with Hebrew

1) Edit your ~/.Xdefaults file. Add the following lines at the end of the file:

*documentFonts.latin1*registry:                        iso8859
*documentFonts.latin1*encoding:                        8
*documentFonts.latin1.variable*family:                 web
*documentFonts.latin1.variable.italic*slant:           r
*documentFonts.latin1.variable.boldItalic*slant:       r
*documentFonts.latin1.fixed*family:                    webmono

2) Edit your ~/.xinitrc file. Add the following lines before the fvwm command:

if [ -r /usr/X11R6 ]; then
	xset +fp /usr/X11R6/lib/X11/fonts/heb
	xset +fp /usr/X11R6/lib/X11/fonts/webheb
	xset fp rehash
fi

3) Exit fvwm. Login again and run Netscape. Our suggestions is that you go 
   into the preferences menu and change your font size to `Large'. 

4) To test the changes, point Netscape to http://www.bezeq.co.il

5) If this doesn't work, use Netscape 3.
